  Our Philosophy

Meditation – a blissful state of calm. But is it possible to flower in the harsh environment of today’s society?

Our bodies are aching from long hours at work; our minds are racing with thoughts due to stress and tension from office, home and relationships - all these add clutter to one's body-mind. We believe that until the mental and physical tensions are effectively released, a calm and blissful meditative state would not be possible or long lasting.

A person who attempts to jump into meditation without first releasing physical and emotional tension will not fully benefit from meditation. Hence, we believe that meditation should always begin with activities designed to unblock one’s mental and emotional clutter before attempting to go into periods of silence and stillness.

  What is OSHO Active Meditation?

"The word 'meditation' and the word 'medicine' come from the same root.
Medicine is for the body; meditation is for the soul. It is medicinal, it is a cure.”
--- OSHO ---

OSHO Active meditation is a unique meditation technique that takes into account the physical, mental and emotional difficulties that the modern man faces. It is entirely based on the revolutionary insights, tested and practiced in the OSHO International Meditation Resort, the world’s largest center for personal growth (also voted among the World’s Best Prescriptive Spas by Harpers Bazaar 2006).

Deeply rooted in Western Psychology and ancient eastern science, OSHO Active Meditation involves breathing and physical movements (known as Bioenergetics) of varying intensity, vocalisation, silence and stillness to help practitioners achieve profound and long lasting meditative states that promote physical and mental wellbeing.

We recognise that what affects the mind, affects the body (eg. mental anxieties or stress reduces immunity), and what affects the body affects the mind (eg. an exhausted or aching body prevents the mind from being clear, alert and calm). That is precisely why we, OSHO Meditation Therapists, start by working with our clients on the physical level to attain a full meditative experience.

Did you know OSHO Active Meditation has been used as the official Mind And Body Meditation Training programme in the Olympics to prep participants for a total mind and body connection?

“If you want to live a more fulfilled life, first you will want to know your potential, who you really are.
Meditation is the route to that knowing. It is the science of awareness.”
